Meet Dr. Miles
Dr. Melissa Miles is a board certified general and colorectal surgeon. As an Arizona native, she studied at the University of Arizona for an undergraduate degree in biology. She then continued her education with a medical degree (M.D) from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her general surgery residency at Jefferson Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. She then returned back out west for a colorectal fellowship in Salt Lake City at St. Marks Hospital. Dr. Miles has been practicing in the Las Vegas area since 2017.
Dr. Miles specializes in colon/rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohns/UC), anorectal diseases and fecal incontinence. She is passionate about new technology and uses the Davinci robot for colon resections. She is one of the few providers in Las Vegas offering sacral nerve stimulators for fecal incontinence.
Dr. Miles is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
Amazing doctor. Takes time to explain things and is very kind. She did a great job with my mom’s surgery. We couldn’t be happier!!! We hope we don’t need another surgery, but if we did… we’d come back to Dr. Miles. Thank you for all you’ve done!!!
