Meet Dr. Amirkhanian
Dr. Ara Amirkhanian is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive bariatric, robotic, and general surgery procedures. He completed his undergraduate pre-med studies at Clemson University while being a 4-year student-athlete on the varsity soccer team. He obtained his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC. Soon thereafter, he traveled West to complete his residency training at MountainView and Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Following this he completed a minimally invasive bariatric fellowship at Legacy Health in Portland, Oregon. Outside of work he enjoys going to stand-up comedy shows with his fiancé and running with his dog.
