Vascular Surgeon
Dr. Jun Xu, a distinguished vascular surgeon, has an impressive educational and professional background. He earned his BA in Philosophy from the University of Maryland in 2005, followed by an MD and an MA in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University in 2010. His postgraduate training includes a residency in vascular surgery and a fellowship in vascular biology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Prior to joining LVSA, Dr. Xu was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He has contributed significantly to the field through various publications in prestigious journals and was actively involved in teaching and supervising medical students and residents.
Dr. Xu is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He has also been a part of numerous institutional committees and has contributed to the community through outreach and volunteer work.
