Dr. Earl D. Cottrell, MD, FACS
Dr. Earl D. Cottrell, MD, FACS is a respected board-certified surgeon specializing in both general and vascular surgery, bringing over thirty years of clinical expertise. He earned his medical degree from the University of Utah, completed his general surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania, and pursued further specialization with a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Cottrell is board certified in General and Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served as a clinical professor, attending surgeon, and practices at most major hospitals in Nevada, where he currently maintains an active clinical practice.
His clinical interests focus on vascular care, venous disorders, and complex vascular reconstructions. In addition to his professional work, Dr. Cottrell is active in church and civic duties and became fluent in Spanish while serving a mission in Argentina.
Dr. Cottrell has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, contributed to book chapters, and delivered national presentations. He continues to be actively involved in continuing medical education and holds leadership roles within the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery.
